G2 Esports and paysafecard extend partnership

G2 Esports, one of the leading Esport entertainment providers, and paysafecard, an online prepaid payment provider and part of the Paysafe Group, are extending their partnership to a fourth year.

paysafecard offers gaming enthusiasts a simple and secure method for paying online with cash and has been serving the gaming community since it was founded in 2000. Today, paysafecard has a global network of more than 650,000 sales outlets in nearly 50 countries.

G2 Esports is a leading international Esports company which represents many of the world's most successful players. Under the management of the legendary League of Legends player, Carlos 'ocelote' Rodriguez, G2 Esports was founded with the aim to bring innovation into the team management and and business of Esports, while preserving the basic values of professionalism, ambition and resilience. Since its foundation in 2014, the company has consistently been one of the five most successful Esports clubs in the world, and it can look back on dozens of successes in several of the world's biggest Esports events. With more than 50 players in 9 teams worldwide, the company has a large global presence and fan base.

As part of the partnership, the paysafecard brand is promoted through several G2 Esports social media channels and Twitch live streams, paysafecard giveaways and online player challenges, as well as dedicated team autograph sessions and meet-and-greet events.

Previous cooperations between paysafecard and G2 Esports have included 'Making The Squad' - the first interactive talent show produced by an Esports organisation - with the aim of finding the next four top-content authors in Fortnite, to form a team.

According to an industry report, by 2018 more than 400 million people worldwide had seen an Esports event - totalling more spectators than many other established sports such as Formula E.
